The hardware revolution is waiting for parts

Been busy at work putting the Printrbot jr  3D printer together and getting it up and running. Only to promptly short-circuit it and jeopardize the desktop manufacturing revolution. Or at least the rapid DIY prototyping design process I’d been looking forward to.

…and then it doesn’t

Power supply is fried 22 minutes in, and with a pile of half completed plastic on the plate everything grinds to a halt.

So some investigation is due to sort out where the wiring went south  – DIY breeds DIY as usual.
